• Very unprofessional in nature , appointment was done 10 days back for 3 pm, they reached my place at 5:30 PM

• From the beginning they took their own time, Spent time in smoking , talking and finally started their work even though their actual working hours started from the time they started from their place (90 mins back)

• I had neatly packed all the 35 boxes, but they just threw them from the steps and 8 boxes were completely opened by the time they reached my new place.

• Estimation given was $ 530 , actual bill given was $ 1630. Before giving this $ amount in cash , they did not even start removing my stuff from the truck. Obviously, I had gone to the ATM to withdraw this amount and this extra time was also included in their working time.

• They charged me a hefty extra amount as they had to walk 100 ft (instead of 50 ft)  from the common lyft to my apartment.

• They broke many of our furniture , glass materials , and tv stands during this move.

• They did not even assemble my stuff after reaching the new place. 

• Don’t use their service even though you get very cheap estimates from them , the actual bill is definitely going to be 5 times for sure.

• They gave a receipt for $1600 but the quality of the handwritten receipt is of such bad quality that anyone would get an impression that it is a fake company.

I am Very surprised how this kind of cheating company survives in this country.

Scammers!!
They first told me $400 and they ended up stealing $750 from me.
They picked up my stuff at 5, it was an hour drive to my new place so my mom and my boyfriend got there at 6 but the truck with my things did not arrived until midnight (not exaggerating), we kept calling and calling asking them why were they not there yet and they said that they got a flat tire, which was a lie because when they arrived at 12 am it was not the same people that picked up my stuff and they had said that they had to do another job, they went all of way to Union with all my personal stuff without say anything to me and meanwhile I was waiting like stupid in my new location without knowing anything about it, so they took my moving with someone else's stuff. We were very upset so we called the police and I ended up paying the extra money and I asked them to signed my receipt in front of the policemen just to have everything clear and the guy was like: sure whatever. The got my stuff out of the truck and my desk was broken in half, and there were two pieces of glass from my TV set broken as well, so I asked them how would I get paid for that and the guy said that since I wanted to sign the receipt in front of the policeman he couldn't applied the insurance to fix or reimburse me for the broken things. So I lost more than $750. Please do not used them for anything cause they will steal from you, that's what they do.

I hired this company for a small move: washer, 3-seat couch, Ikea bedframe, matress, futon, countertop, dining table with 6 chairs, TV, 4 tires and a few smaller items. I took all the furniture apart before they came in and had it separated from what was staying in the old place. I even wrapped the stuff that I could.

They quoted me $490 the day before and came at $710 on the move.

I wouldn't have minded the difference if everything was moved intact, this was not the case though. Every piece of furniture has a ding, scratch, rip or similar. And I really mean every piece. And I told them at the beginning of the job take your time I want a smooth job.

This is just a horrible company. Out of the 3 guys that came only 1 was actually acting like a professional and was wrapping the items and moving with care. The other 2 guys, one of which was the lead are just out for a quick buck.

I told them at my new place that I have just washed the carpet and would like them to either take their shoes off, put booties on(which I provided) or put a tarp and wipe their shoes off before they walk in. All of those were too much for them. On top of that to cut their path from the truck 3 feet short they walked through the garden in front of the front door and brought even more dirt.

Also when moving the washer that was left by previous owner at my new location they spilled water, which got into the floor from a nearby crevice and damaged the ceiling on the floor underneath. You would think professional mover would know a washer might have water in it and come prepared...

I would have been much better just selling all my stuff at rock bottom prices and buying new then paying these guys to destroy everything and still having to buy new.

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for movers.

A while back I started my search for a moving company by reading reviews at places like this. I must say that people make it very hard to know which direction to take as everyone has a difference in opinion from time to time. Having found out about Tiger Movers, I decided to give them a try. Am I glad I did! I too had three movers arrive on my doorstep, on time, smiling and ready to go! We laughed and joked throughout the entirety of my move. In the end, there were no damages to report and in fact, my move came in under estimate. I figure that these reviews are good to a point. As long as the people writing them aren't looking for a miracle mover. Everyone's situation is different and hiring Tiger Movers just might be the best move you’ve ever made! Literally!

Service cost: $587

I wish I didn't even have to give one star for this review because they were that bad. First, I was told they'd be at my house at 9 AM. They didn't show up until 11 which put my move on hold for two hours. They showed up and informed me that they had to use their own blankets and tape to wrap our furniture. I don't remember how much each blanket was, but it was at least $3. I distinctly remember how much the tape was because I was angry they charged me $3 per roll and out of the 36 rolls they "used" they really only used four rolls completely. 12 of those rolls were still in plastic wrap and the other 20 rolls were only half used. I know exactly what was used because I spent an hour going around my old house picking up these rolls. They would use the roll and toss it on the floor. They would also take one blanket at a time downstairs to bring upstairs to wrap furniture to purposely waste time.

I hired movers so that I could get some cleaning done while they were moving our boxes. However, I learned quickly that I would need to babysit them. I peered out my window to see them all sitting and talking in their truck. I am paying someone $80 an hour then you shouldn't need a break 30 minutes after showing up at my house. They would check their phones every time they received a txt and I even had one guy face timing his child as he brought my coffee table in the house. It didn't end.

When they arrived at our new house. The lead guy gave me a bill which was drastically higher than the quote they originally gave me. It turns out, they include travel on the way back to their facility. Mind you, the address of where they are located is nowhere to be found on the quote. It turns out, they were 2 hours from my house. I wish I had known this because I would have found someone local. They will not unload anything unless you pay. I gave them cash and had them drop all boxes in the garage. They brought the furniture in and unwrapped everything and left tape all over my house.

Service cost: $800

Had a great experience with Tiger Movers. The guy on the phone was extremely professional, and confident about what he was doing.

On the day of the move the guys came on time and well equipped and started working right away. The movers made me feel really comfortable. The movers wrapped my pretty expensive couch so nicely I couldn't even expect. That was even better then it was new in the store. My move was done expeditiously and all my stuff got to my new place safely. Very professional!! I really appreciate Tiger Movers and will recommend them to all my friend.

Yesterday I moved to another apartment with my wife and I actually relocated after 16 long years! So, it was a bit hard for me to leaving my previous behind. However, that is how life goes on. But before the move I was actually worried because there were so many stuffs to be moved and some were very old, vulnerable, sensitive, heavy and rare. But nothing went wrong. These movers were smartly taking care of everything. I was happy to see them being very watchful while moving my stuffs. When Tiger Movers completed the move, I noticed that they were 1 hour ahead than the original quote and when I checked the inventory, I was surprised to see their 100% accuracy rate. I am also very happy with the amount that they charged.

Service cost: $867

Javier and guys showed up on time to start loading up my furniture. They moved several large pieces, including a washer/dryer, large chest of drawers, and a sofa. They got the van packed quickly and efficiently. The move was only 2 miles down the road. No furniture was damaged in the move. They unloaded the furniture and placed everything where I asked them to put it. They even asked if I'd like them to put the bed back together, AFTER I'd already signed the contract and paid for the 2 hours. Overall, it was a great moving experience.

This is the second time I've used them and they are wonderful!
Doing a move by myself seems overwhelming, but these guys made it easy! They came 30 minutes early, called me to let me know they were there, and got the stuff out of my apartment quickly and they were super friendly and funny too. They called me to let me know when they were on their way and the streets that they were taking. I met them at my new place and they were in and out so fast I could hardly believe it. They took extra special care of my things and hung up all my clothes in these incredible wardrobe boxes and re-hung all my clothes in the new place.
I did shrink wrap my bed and all my stuff myself (if you want them to do it they charge you $10 a piece and $25 to do your tv), so if you want a minimum time/cost move, do plan ahead and be absolutely ready for them to get it out of your house!
They also helped me set up my bed and really made this so stress free.None of my walls were scratched or nicked and it only took them about 2 hours and 15 minutes to move my entire studio apartment 8 miles away. I've recommended them to everyone, including family and friends and both were extremely pleased with the company and the referral. It was a stress free and pleasant move!

I thank the movers for what they have done for me. I had no hope whatsoever of getting a smooth move because of the budget and time which were available to me. But these movers did deliver a picture perfect move. I don’t know how but they made everything possible. Movers were extremely talented and focused; I was amazed to see their speed and accuracy. When they asked me to check the inventory, I was stunned to see that all my belongings in one piece and in proper order. I am very impressed with their service. I want others to experience the best and that is why I am recommending Tiger Movers.

-movers came late
-movers with attitude and in a rush
-movers do not let you know when they leave
-movers boss ALEX, not helpful during the moving
-movers wont unload your stuff until they get paid.

lesson learned, better pay top dollar in other company than this one, worst service ever, it seems that they pay college students that prefer to be somewhere else than working that day. worst attitude to work.
For starters they came super late, a mechanical problem with the truck Alex said, they refunded one hour, however they came 4 hours late!
later that they left me with a last load of boxes which I had to move it myself next day, I called them they said that they were coming back but they didn't. they went straight to the last stop and didn't unload until they got paid even though it was 1 am.
they were not able to manage to move box spring to second floor, the next day I did it myself using a little bit of logic.
then we complained with ALEX, which was not helpful at all, he stood his ground and didn't do anything to solve the issue, just refunded one hour.

guys, try to avoid this place, if you do not believe me is fine, is your call, send me a txt if you want to go to specifics, this is not a biased review I am trying to be as fair as possible, people should know about places like this.

Do not use Tiger Movers, they are so disgraceful, they broke my bedroom set and my living room tv, they quoted me $900 but gave me a bill of $2400 at the end of the move, they reduced it to $1400 due to "moving complications" it was still $500 more than the quote and I still had to go out and replace the things they broke, I called to complain and they were very rude when I said I would give them a bad review for this they got irate and hung up the phone after saying the $2400 was due in full. I didn't have that type of money on hand, I only had $1000 to pay for the move plus a tip I ended up having to move heaven and earth to get the extra money. And being a single mother didn't make it even easier. Please don't use them they will ruin your things and over charge you!

This was not the first time I was moving. Guys from the moving company came on time and from the time they came there primary mote was Money. And Tips that they need to get paid. They did not move the box’s completely and when asked they were saying they have to go to next moves . The Forman of moving company was scared of Spiders and dropped my Drawer breaking the same. When asked he gives me some unconnected answers. Most painful and hard experience. If want trouble and pain call this guys.

If I could give negative stars, I would. The most unprofessional, disappointing experience I have ever had. This company lured me in with a great quote - assured me all packing time, materials and travel time was built into the estimate & there would be no added, unexpected costs. To start off our experience, they were OVER 3 HOURS late to our scheduled time (they arrived at 6:15pm for a 3pm moving time), So we had to sit around all day waiting for them. Once they arrived and started working they had Everything loaded out within 1 hour (it was a 1 bedroom apartment with minimal items being moved), yet they never came back up at the end to tell us they were leaving to the destination. They didn’t come back to make sure everything was taken care of (there were 3 additional pieces they left behind), and they left behind two legs to my sectional!! Once we realized they had left (we went outside to make sure, and the truck was gone), we checked in an hour later to make sure they hadn’t gotten lost (The trip to the destination was less than an hour), only to find out they were probably only 15 minutes into the route! This is clearly impossible and I even overheard one of the “movers” say on speakerphone that they stopped at Burger King. He proceeded to tell me no matter how long it took them to get to the destination, we had to pay for that time which is just completely absurd! The rep on the phone confirmed 1 hour was plenty of time to allot to the travel, and I even checked my GPS - it said based on current traffic it should’ve taken them 50 minutes to get there. It took them over 2 hours, and once they arrived they demanded we pay over $100 more than the quoted total before unloading anything. I confirmed with the rep the total in advance and asked to clarify many times if I added specific things, if it would change the cost - and they assured me there would be no additional fees (aside from a fee to dissemble a bed). They charged for additional tape (meanwhile they left behind 10 rolls in the apartment that were barely used) and for the extra road time (which clearly wasn’t warranted). This experience was a complete nightmare and I would seriously reccomend to anyone considering their services to stay away!! They are completely unprofessional and take advantage of people! I work in the service industry and I seriously cannot understand how they are even still operating, their treatment of their customers is entirely unacceptable.

These guys are pros! So helpful, kind, efficient, quiet and careful. We had a very large and complicated move and Tiger's' crew did an amazing job. After a terrible experience the last time we moved , we really appreciated everything they did right. There were clear labels and the boxes ended up in the right rooms. Nothing was broken or lost. The crew was always willing to answer questions and go the extra mile. They were respectful of a sleeping baby, and were totally flexible when obstacles came up.
Still waiting for them to help us with a few more things, but we would definitely recommend them!

The moving process was very smooth! The movers were extremely professional and super efficient. They cleared my studio apartment in like 30 minutes!

I have two desks with glass top and a big TV, they were all protected thoroughly with blankets and protected sheets. They disassemble and re-assembled my IKEA storage couch without any issue. They also unmounted my wall shelfs (which I didn't want to take them with me, so they were just doing me a favor).

The total cost was under $600, which is very reasonable. I was quoted for 3 movers, but 5 came, and with the same hourly rate! The price I was quoted for was almost the same as the final cost.

I moved a studio apartment from Manhattan east side to Jersey city, and it took 3.5 hours in total, which totally exceeded my expectation. Prior to this I moved twice in NYC using other moving companies, and in both moves the movers took over 6 hours! I am just so impressed by Great Tiger Movers Inc.!

I have been referring all my friends to use them! If you are still on the fence, try them! You won't regret!

I writing this review to say this company need to be put out of business due to the lack of how they treat there employees. They try an profile there employees by what they see them come into work with. Also they have a serious problem with paying there employees that if they pay you at all. From my experience working there I seen alot of things from this company from employees damaging government customers shipment an trying to hide it with management trying to hide it .This company also put anybody in a leadership position when most people they put them postion have little knowledge of what they are doing . They also have alot of there employees come to work high on the job an do these activities while on client property . An they say they do a background check which is a joke becuase alot of there employees have background where they can't even get on military base . Due to they are either they illigal or don't have birth certificate or proper id. If you think I am lieing just simply research an I assure you see all the facts an what I saying. Which is a big problem when have a state department contract an sending folks out that hadn't been train to even do a state department job . There motto is they well just print Id for anybody without training to do the so call job .

My 81 year old aunt called them to come move her too another town and they told her one price then called back and told her a different price then one of the employees called her and told her not to listen to any one but him and called off his personal phone ! Then she called back and told them she was going to cancel cause she couldn’t afford the price after they quoted her three different amounts and told her that she would not get her deposit back ! So this company sucks how do you treat the elderly people like that !

DONT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL !!

From the  moment the drivers showed up to my apartment, we knew this was going to be a subpar experience, and not the way anyone should feel as they are moving to a new place - ESPECIALLY WHEN PAYING TWO MOVERS TO ASSIST! The movers arrived and boy, did they make an entrance! They backed the moving truck into a lightpost right in front of my building, the passenger stepped out, attempted to fix the poll by pushing it upright and then attempted to keep the poll in place by patting dirt around it. Not only are there cameras at my old building that recorded this, but my boyfriend, myself and one of my neighbors witnessed the accident. My neighbor reported the incident to the local police, and when my building super confronted the driver about this, the driver lied and said he didn't hit the poll. The driver spent over an hour outside on the phone telling someone that ,"he can't switch the license plates", attempted to dewire the light post and fix it himself, and lied to my super. The driver did not assist with my move for more than 2 hours, yet Alex P had no problem charging us for the time there was only one mover working. Naturally when the police showed up, the driver admitted to what was done. Both the driver and the passenger were handling this matter for 45 minutes, which means, no one was working! To add insult to injury, when we arrived at our new place, the driver advised us we'd be charged the $150 fee for our apartment being "more than 50 feet from the moving truck". We measured, and it's 43.75 feet from where the truck was parked to our apartment entrance. While the driver gave us $30 off because "of the time spent with the police", I spoke with Alex about the issues of being overcharged for hours worked as well as the $150 "50-feet from moving truck" fee, and he said he would look into the videos and photos that further solidifed the evidence of being overcharged. It has been two weeks since my last call with him and three emails later with no response from him or anyone else who may be competent and understands the definition of customer service. I hope this review touches a handful of people who were considering Tiger Movers to assist with their move, and helps them see this is NOT THE BUSINESS TO ASSIST WITH ANY MOVING NEEDS and you would only be wasting your time and hard earned money.

Absolutely the worst experience imaginable!!!

This Company is one of the most unprofessional and dishonest co I have dealt with. The only reason Tiger was used was because they were hired as a third party, which we were not aware of. After reading other Tiger reviews at least they stay consistent. Terrible Reviews !!! It started when a quote was given for this move of around 9K. We were very careful to confirm this price since another moving Co had changed their original price. This Co understood our concern and guaranteed this price. They also understood the house was closing the following day and needed to be vacated. When they arrived they changed the price because they indicated that there were more items than they expected. THEY SAW EVERYTHING IN EVERY ROOM WHEN THEY GAVE THE FIRST QUOTE. They brought a 27' truck which is more than enough for a 3 bedroom 1500 sq. f00t home They increased their quote 5K.. There was no choice but to pay this amount under duress on account of our time sensitive closing date. The Co was well aware of this and used it as leverage. We were told the truck would be leaving straight for NY. They picked up contents last week of October. It was delivered Nov 15th. It took over 3 weeks!!.When we finally did hear from them we had a 4 hour notice, also they wanted to deliver it at 5PM. When they did arrive, there were only 2 people. One of them was new so in this review it does not include him. The driver was rude when I asked if he had plastic or floor coverings to protect the floor, since it was raining, and he said no he has never heard of such a thing. Next the driver said they would not take anything anything upstairs without an extra cost. (2nd floor was known in quote). He said either pay the money or everything goes to downstairs or we will leave without unloading the truck. It took 45 min of calls to their boss to get them to take a few items upstairs. We asked what process is best to determine which room to place items. The driver responded by saying "we do not separate the load, everything is placed in one place. He said we don’t have time to determine these things we only have to bring them to one area." My wife was still trying to talk to him when he just ignored her and started walking off. I then had to inform him he was rude and to listen to her. Later we found items that belong in a garage (marked barbecue grill) we asked them to place it in the garage. He said no we only place everything in one spot. I asked, "so if you unload a lawnmower you are putting it in the house?" He said, "yes, or we'll leave it outside." Now things are starting to get heated. I strongly suggested he do his job and place things they belong, as per the contract! He said if I keep talking like that, they will just unload everything outside and leave it (It was raining hard outside). I told him go ahead and we will see you in court. His response was strange, he said, "you don’t know my name", I said I know the company. He said, "but you don’t know me." By this point we were so tired of it all, and tired of the time they were wasting on their phones & arguing, we just let them place everything piled up in one place. They finally left around 11:30 PM. They left all their trash scattered in the driveway, as well as several pieces of various broken items, that we were on aware of until they had left and found the parts in the driveway. They broke an antique mirror, which they did show us, but also many boxes were torn up, crushed, or partially opened, the damage was unbelievable. By the end of it, we were just glad they were gone.
